Observatório do Afogamento

O Observatório do Afogamento é um sistema criado pela Federação Portuguesa de Nadadores Salvadores, para contabilizar as mortes por afogamento em Portugal.

O registo é realizado por links de recortes de jornal ou imagens destes, que devem ser enviados por qualquer pessoa para o e-mail observatoriodoafogamento@gmail.com ou postadas no facebook do observatório em facebook.com/observatoriodoafogamento.

A contabilização dos afogamentos é atualizada periodicamente neste site.

Este sistema segue as indicações da Organização Mundial de Saúde e da Internacional Lifesaving Federation, para que se contabilize melhor o afogamento.

The Portuguese Drowning Observatory is a system created by the Portuguese Lifesaving Federation to account the drowning deaths in Portugal.

The registration is made by links of newspaper clippings or images of these, which should be sent by anyone to the e-mail observatoriodoafogamento@gmail.com or posted on the facebook page of the observatory at facebook.com/observatoriodoafogamento.

The counting of drownings are periodically updated on this site.

This system follows the indications of the World Health Organization and the International Lifesaving Federation, to better account for drowning.
